About me
I’m Casey - a Creative Director specialising in experiential marketing; founder of BOYD London a creative house for brands, organisations and individuals who want to create positive human-centric experiences; co-founder of the ethical lifestyle store & Mother Store; partner to Alex & mother to Lion. We live between the Welsh coast near where I grew up, London and New York. We’re regularly working on where to place some roots.
Why Motherhood?
Motherhood has been and continues to be the greatest privilege (and success story) of my life, but it’s not been without personal challenges and in some respects losses. I am fascinated about the intersection of motherhood and so many aspects of life in particular career, ambition and creativity. My career, which began as a Producer before evolving into Creative Direction has always been important to me - something that was an anchor and challenged me in the best possible way. Off the back of motherhood, and certainly the pandemic too, there has been a shift. The fire is still very much there but exploring my wider ambitions, potential and (perhaps a new) creative path is part of the aim with this journal. Let’s see what unfolds!
